Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actress singer and songwriter. Her mother was her primary caregiver in the USA in a place where she endured numerous racial slurs that made her feel like an unwanted person. In the ninth grade, after a school audition, where she was praised for her voice as she built confidence. It not only increased her confidence but her ambitions were changed. At the age of 22 she was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School. At the age of 23 years old, she launched her journey on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, at 23 years old her first film debut was You've got mail. Her biggest break came with her role as The Lady of The Lake in the first Broadway production of Spamalot. She won the Tony Award and received great appreciation for her performance. In the following year she was made the lead character the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her becoming more famous. Known as a singer she released her own single and an extended show. In addition, she's a campaigner and has been active for LGBT rights.
