Cassandra Monique Batie is an American R&B, soul and singer/songwriter. She also sings. The Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are among the many accolades she has been awarded. She has also been selected for the Academy Award. Andra Day, a skilled singer-songwriter with roots in gospel and the blues who has a flair for contemporary music is a ferocious performer and a gifted writer. Her debut album Cheers to the Autumn (2015) is an immediate hit with the hiphop/R&B dance music genre. The album earned her numerous Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Stand Up for Something (2017), her contribution to Marshall's soundtrack received both accolades. Her second album has grown through singles including Amen (2018) and the single Make Your Troubles Go Away (2020) and also a Golden Globe award-winning portrayal of Billie Holiday in The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Born Cassandra Monique Batie in Edmonds Washington Andra Day was raised at home in San Diego and its metropolitan city, where she performed at church and enrolled at the School of Creative and Performing Arts. When she left the school, she gravitated towards more contemporary R&B and pop music, but was eventually drawn back to the classic jazz and soul singers she listened to in her youth. Kai Millard Morris caught her performance and gave the music of Day to Stevie Wonder. This, in turn, led to the Motown legend linked Day to the music industry's veteran Adrian Gurvitz. Day was a partner with Gurvitz's Buskin label as well as Jeffrey Evans' Buskin record business, grew an online following. The singer eventually joined Warner Bros. Billie Holiday (2020), an autobiography of the career of Holiday. Andi Matichak is an American actress. She debuted in the movie Halloween in the role of Allyson and was later seen in several television shows including Orange Is the New Black (Orange Is the New black) Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue) The Blue Bloods and Orange is the New Black. Andi Mattichak was born on the 3rd of May, 1994 in Framingham Massachusetts.
