Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the US. She's primarily an actor, however she is also a songwriter and singer. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". But, she is to be primarily as a musician. According to her, is the first thing she loves. She began playing with it when she was nine years old. As she grew to the age of 12 her music took on a serious nature and she began professional training. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13, and she was just 14 when she released her debut album of covers songs. From then on, she has never looked back. Orrantia was raised in the USA and yet she has Hispanic heritage. Her family has Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English as a child and her whole life was in the United States. To preserve it, she has learned Spanish and composed songs in that language. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she's recorded is a good example. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she got four "yeses" (or votes) for the judges during The Seattle audition. She originally auditioned solo, but during the "Hollywood week" she was placed together with three female singers in a trio for the remainder of the auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week in the live shows.
